Overview

Ad-Preflight is a developer-first tool for local HTML5 ad audits. The core CLI and Deep Audit run locally. This website collects limited information only when you purchase and activate a Deep Audit license or contact us directly.

Purchases and Licensing

When you begin checkout, we process the email address you provide to create the checkout session, deliver your license, and support the purchase. Stripe processes payment details; Ad-Preflight does not receive or store your full card number.

License activation processes a hashed machine identifier, supported Node.js major version, license and transaction identifiers, activation status, and related timestamps. This is used to issue the plugin, enforce the licensed machine limit, prevent abuse, and provide support.

After activation, the Deep Audit plugin re-verifies the license online from time to time. Each check sends only the license token and the hashed machine identifier - never your creative files or audit results. A machine that stays offline beyond a short grace period must reconnect to keep using Deep Audit.

Website Logs

Like most websites, our hosting provider may process basic technical request information such as IP address, user agent, requested URL, referrer, and timestamp to deliver the site, maintain security, debug errors, and prevent abuse. We do not use this information to build marketing profiles.

Cookies and Analytics

We do not currently use website analytics, advertising pixels, or marketing cookies. Stripe may use cookies or similar technologies that are necessary to provide and secure its hosted checkout, subject to Stripe's own privacy policy.

Local CLI Usage

The website does not receive your HTML5 ad creative files or generated audit reports. Core preflight checks, Deep Audit browser checks, screenshots, and PDF report generation run on your machine.

Third-Party Links

This website uses or links to third-party services such as Stripe, npm, and GitHub. Those services are governed by their own privacy policies and data practices.

Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information we hold about you, subject to legal, transaction-record, fraud-prevention, and license-enforcement requirements. Contact us and we will review your request.

Data Retention

We keep purchase and license records (email, transaction and license identifiers, hashed machine identifier, activation status, and timestamps) for as long as the license is active and for as long afterwards as we need them to meet tax, accounting, and legal obligations and to prevent abuse. Basic technical request logs are retained for a limited period for security and debugging, then deleted or anonymised. You can ask us to delete personal information sooner, subject to those obligations.
